Born and raised in Lower Mac, Ron has built a life around family, service and our local Community. He grew up in the East Texas neighborhood of Lower Mac and today lives in a home just up the street from where he grew up with his daughter Cecilia and dog Ellie Mae.

Ron is a successful small business owner. His first company of 12-years is physically situated on Main Street in Macungie has provided event services including photography, films and live music for 12 years. The company has shot wedding films all over the globe!

Currently, Ron is working on his next business endeavor building Lower Macungie’s first craft brewery in a 120 year old barn on 2-acres along the Little Lehigh River. Rising River Brewing Co. is set to open in Fall 2021. Prior to becoming an entrepreneur twice over, Ron worked in Higher Ed. administration.

In addition to family and work, Ron was elected to the Lower Macungie Board of Commissioners in 2013. He is currently finishing his second term as Board President, Chairman of the Planning and Zoning Committee and also serves as Treasurer of the Lehigh County Farmland Preservation Board. Believing in term limits Ron is honoring a pledge to only serve for 2 terms or 8-years total in one position.

Ron is now a candidate for Lower Macungie Commissioner in District 2 which includes Lower Mac, Upper Mac, Alburtis Borough and South Whitehall.

Ron holds a degree from Slippery Rock University of PA and is an Emmaus High School Graduate. Outside of career and service, Ron enjoys beer league softball, pickup basketball, playing drums in various bands, visiting craft breweries, traveling, checking out new local restaurants and volunteers to maintain local public flower beds.
