Born and raised in Lower Mac, Ron has built a life around family, service and our local Community. He grew up in the East Texas neighborhood of Lower Mac and today lives in a home just up the street from where he grew up with his daughter Cecilia and dog Ellie Mae.

Ron is a successful small business owner twice over with a proven track record. His first venture was based on Main Street in Macungie for 14 years and specialized in event services offering photography, filmmaking, and live music, with wedding films shot around the globe!

Today, Ron owns Rising River Brewing Co., an award-winning craft brewery in a 120-year-old barn on 2 acres along the Little Lehigh River. Before becoming a two-time entrepreneur, Ron worked in higher ed administration.

In addition to family and work, Ron was elected to the Lower Macungie Board of Commissioners in 2013 and served in that position for 8 years honoring a term limit pledge. He is currently a Lehigh Co. Commissioner, Chairman of the Planning and Zoning Committee and Chair of the Lehigh County Farmland Preservation Board.

Ron is currently running for re-election! District 2 includes Lower Macungie, Upper Macungie, Alburtis Borough, Macungie Borough, and Upper and Lower Milford.

Ron holds a degree from Slippery Rock University of PA and is an Emmaus High School Graduate. Outside of career and service, Ron enjoys beer league softball, pickup basketball, playing drums in a band, visiting craft breweries, traveling, checking out new local restaurants and volunteering around the community.
